Set up, organized and provided significant forensic underwriting guidance to international law firms on over 19 international reinsurance arbitrations involving reinsurance vs reinsurance contracts, property and casualty US state act / US federal act, United States Longshoreman and Harbor Act (USL&H) and Worldwide Maritime Employers Liability (MEL).Performed Reinsurance underwriting audits for Lloyds of London, Lloyd Syndicates and Bermuda based Reinsurers. I have performed over 70 underwriting audits of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance companies, TPA's, MGA's, surplus Lines, etc. Performed Merger / Acquisition due diligence on several large insurance company purchases.

Regional Underwriting Manager for AIG Insurance company for the management liability division including Director and Officer (D&O), Employment Practice Liability (EPL), Fidelity (crime) and fiduciary (ESOP - employee stock option plans, etc.). Managed the region of out-state Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa agencies.

Underwriting manager of Missouri (primary) and Illinois territories for EBI Companies, which was a mono-line workers' compensation carrier. EBI was bought out by Royal Sun Alliance in early 2000 and closed the EBI St. Louis, MO office.

I was the Underwriting Manager for the Missouri, Illinois and Kansas territory of RTW, Inc. based out of the St. Louis, MO office. My responsibilities included the underwriting and managing of a large book of mono-line workers' compensation business. I performed face to face business development with independent property casualty agents and their clients (insureds) throughout the territories. I was successful in building the 2nd and 4th largest agency books of business in the company from scratch. I wore many hats in the early days of RTW and created the RTW's first underwriting manual, first small accounts program, filed rates with the state insurance departments of MO, IL & KS and even filled out and filed hand written stat cards before computers were set up to do it.My experiences with RTW were instrumental in my professional development in how to build company infastructure, operations and critical processes. The multitude of experiences and achievements at RTW St. Louis were priceless and so were my co-workers and friends whom I worked with.
