As a student advocate I was responsible for giving student life presentations to prospective students and their parents at university open days. I took great pride in fulfilling this role and providing the best experience for each visitor I met, endeavouring to answer all their queries as fully and clearly as I could. Through this I developed extremely strong verbal presentation and communication skills, in addition to this I also improved my ability to work effectively as part of a team

Worked as part of a team in this customer facing role. Through this experience I developed my confidence in speaking to customers and the management team. In this position I ensured that I volunteer to take on extra responsibilities, including working over time to assist the management in closing the cafe. Whilst in this role I demonstrated my commitment to the position to the senior staff, which led to me being given more responsibility and more frequent shifts.
