Provided strategic direction and leadership to ensure Jacksons Lane achieved its aims and was financially viable, securing funding in order to sustain and develop Jacksons Lane’s position as the UK’s leading producer of contemporary circus, transforming lives by connecting people, programme and place. Managed and developed a team of professional and motivated staff to achieve the strategic aims of the company. Assumed full accountability and responsibility for all aspects of the business, ensuring the future viability of Jacksons Lane by developing long–term partnerships with a range of organisations including the local community, London Borough of Haringey, Big Lottery, Children in Need, trusts and foundations, and Arts Council England. Successfully raised £2.2m from Arts Council England towards Jackson’s Lane capital project, co-ordinating all key information required, liaising with the design team and London Borough of Haringey (key stakeholders with £1m grant towards project). Created a ten-year business plan for the organisation, instigating operational plan and risk register, and also re-negotiated premises lease.

Leading the Stewardship & Events team to successfully design, deliver and review the annual programme of events, ensuring it is responsive to the fundraising requirements across all donor audiences, to maximize cultivation and stewardship opportunities.

Senior manager, producing events and projects for the National Theatre. Managed team of four to run of portfolio of 200 events per annum, generating £150,000 of income, working closely with corporate and individual fundraising teams to sell stand-alone events and forge long-term strategic partnerships, including a range of in-kind partnerships .I had responsibility for the NT’s fundraising galas: Up Next (previously known as Fast Forward) that raises £1 million net to support Learning; and Bright Young Things, which raises £200,000 to support emerging artists and generates funding for placements at the NT Studio and New Work department. . I undertook all financial modeling to forecast income and expenditure, and run the budget. I engaged and contracted the creative teams, including commissioning new writing. Worked with corporate partners on brand development and social media marketing initiatives. Drive to offer the highest level of customer service in all work. Responsibility for compliance, and health and safety best practice. Passion for staff development: first in department to work with apprentices and Creative Access interns. Regularly worked with senior volunteers, Executive, and Board. Experience with major capital campaign NT Future that raised £80 million.
