I am a Strategic Brand and Communications Consultant with 13 years director level and C-suite experience in international sport. I offer consultancy services and build cost-effective teams for creative and communications projects.Previously, I was the Director of Brand and Communications at the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), where I contributed to the establishment of a new amateur sport discipline and established the company profile across market segments - consumer, corporate, public affairs and digital. I have a track record of leading successful media campaigns, and managing media operations for events, from live arena sport to corporate in different countries. I performed on Organising Committees with host country stakeholders and regulators, and managed partnerships with sponsors and broadcasters. Qualified in Public Affairs with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, I hold long experience in crisis mitigation and management and political lobbying.At IMMAF, my responsibilities extended to the delivery of robust strategies and funding bids, managing budgets, and performing broader COO functions for the whole company. I developed company structures and processes, hired and trained staff across departments. I am known for my excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong relationships with partner organisations and local workforces internationally, across cultures and language barriers. I am also a founder and former trustee of a charity (Safe MMA), with further executive experience.
