I enjoy making elegant and meaningful things happen in video form. Beyond this, I immensely value people and groups who act fairly, kindly and mindfully in order to add something of value to our shared experience - as I also strive to do.I have over 20 years of experience, the majority of it spent on editing TV and commercial video productions.My major specialty is the ability to take my client's materials and independently shape their story based on their general ideas of where they wish to go with it. If necessary, I can quickly produce a broadcast-ready story without the need for much further input from my client. I have demonstrable results in many genres and content types - from highly technical corporate videos to feelgood human interest stories, reality storytelling as well as news & current events programs.I have received kudos for my ability to focus on the essential and condense both complex factual information and emotionally compelling elements into gripping stories.Other roles that I continually perform in various productions include single- and multi-camera director, videographer, copywriter, VFX and motion graphics artist, sound designer, colorist and VO artist / announcer. Occasionally, I have managed smaller productions entirely on my own, acting as producer, writer, director as well performing much of the hands-on production - though this is not my preferred type of project.I also have some experience in teaching and lecturing on the basics of audio editing and video production. I received good feedback for this and would be interested in doing more of it.
