I am interested in soil and water resources conservation and management, water pollution control and remediation. As a scientist, I have been working with strategies to minimize the degradation of water resources. As an educator, my goal is to bring real-world issues to the classroom, connecting theory and application, and developing ideas to address the ever-complex challenges water resources professionals face. I intend to contribute to the understanding of nutrient transport in landscapes and waterscapes, researching the movement and transformations of nutrients and effective ways to remediate their excess. Working with farmers, researchers, industry representatives and colleagues, my goal is to develop effective ways to readjust nutrient cycles in the environment.
