I’m a violinist, singer-songwriter, and composer from Los Angeles with over thirty years of extensive orchestral experience in symphony, opera, and musical theater settings. As a soloist I have performed live as a guest with The Mowgli’s, Misterwives, and numerous others. Also, I’ve provided strings for numerous recording projects for a wide variety of artists and projects in Los Angeles, New York, and Berlin. I studied classical violin with Michael Ferril, Robert Lipsett, and David Updegraff. Between 2003 and 2004 I was fortunate to take four extended lessons with noted 20th-century violin virtuoso Ruggiero Ricci. My mentor in production and songwriting is Mark Vogel, a BMI-award winning songwriter and composer for film and television with whom I study voice, songwriting, composition, and piano. In 2022, I had a writing placement with Beatbutcha on BANKS’ song “Holding Back” on the Serpentina album and a strings credit on the album “Genesis” by Meechy Darko, produced by Dotdagenius. Song placements include the first Hurricane Bianca film in 2016 and Easter Bloody Easter just released in March of 2024. My current focus is singing, writing, and playing violin for my artist project IZZY, which, totally feel free to call me by this nickname! My album “Requiem” is currently out now and I have a new single and podcast debut on the horizon.I always look forward to more opportunities to collaborate and provide music for film, games, or whatever project one might have.
