Shirley’s-experience with dealing with customers, counting money, online orders/in person orders, dealing with scheduling for work through an app, keeping inventory of all items in the store and stocking Canvassing-did for a few months at the same time as Shirley’s, helped me with time management and creating my own schedule to work with/drive with. Helped me in talking with anyone and a multitude of people in different socioeconomic factors on issues that matter Prost-began working when restaurants opened after covid lockdown, quickly became second most senior staff member, assist with scheduling everyone, ordering beer/wine/food, dealing with customers day to day and for catering, tipping out servers at end of shifts, closing/opening the bar, using the POS system, gather money when we need it in the morning, helped me in a more management position as well as attending to employees needs Greek life-all of the positions I held during my time at school were higher level positions that required me being in charge of people, money, or recruiting newer members into the community. I wanted the campus as a whole to grow, when we were able to do so in person as well as when school became entirely virtual Student Government- gave me the ability to speak up for students when there were misdoings on campus, from dining issues to student misconduct(part of the committee to discipline students) and misuse of Otterbein policies regarding COVID and funding. Students are given a voice on campus with Otterbein’s form of student government, and it felt most appropriate to use it
