The Trans Mountain Pipeline transports crude oil and refined petroleum products from Edmonton, Alberta to refineries and terminals in British Columbia and Washington State. Crude oil is also shipped to offshore markets in Asia and the U.S. west coast via the Westridge Marine Terminal in Burnaby, British Columbia.Trans Mountain Expansion Project: The goal of the Trans Mountain Expansion Project (TMEP) is to twin the existing pipeline that commences at a storage terminal in Edmonton, AB and terminates at the Westridge Marine Terminal in Burnaby, BC. The Kiewit-Ledcor-TMEP contract scope (5B CAD project) includes all pipelines and facilities in the British Columbia Lower Mainland—identified as Westridge Marine Terminal, Burnaby Terminal, Sumas Terminal, Burnaby Mountain Tunnel and Pipeline Spread 7. During peak activity the project had 1200 unionized employees and 500 staff. I was assigned to the Westridge Marine Terminal and handled all the HR operations of staff and union employees. From October 2023 - January 2024 (completion phase) handled the HR operations of all segments of KLTP project and also facilitated transfer of employees to other Kiewit projects including Woodfibre LNG and Teck Resources.

Saudi Arabia and Bahrain locations, both combined had 2000 employees, 80 different nationalities during my tenure. I worked from corporate/Center of excellence team as well as from different EPCM projects. Besides my human resources generalist duties, I led and worked on various special projects - some of the main ones listed below:• Implemented Oracle HCM after making changes in test environment, signing off UAT scripts and moving all the changes to production environment. Around 2000 employee records were migrated from in-house legacy system to Oracle HCM batch by batch. This had to be done in conjunction with transfer of employee sponsorships, as they moved from a local joint venture partnership to a single owned entity. • Moved in-house payroll to an outsourced payroll model (ADP)• As part of change management initiatives, developed communications and provided training to 2000 employees (in-person) to create and submit timesheets in Oracle HCM.• Worked on a salary benchmarking exercise that significantly increased the employee retention rate in the region. • Provided knowledge transfer to Malaysia (Shared Service Center) while migrating some of the HR processes from the location to the SSC.• Administered the local Workforce Planning to comply with the Nationalization program introduced by the Saudi government as part of 2030 vision. The scheme was basically to increase the percentage of the local workforce comprising women and men against the expat population.
