The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) is the medical college responsible for the training, examination and professional development of ophthalmologists in Australia and New Zealand. As an Information Technology Manager at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), I led the IT and Digital Roadmap project, translating business strategies and objectives into tangible IT initiatives and overseeing their execution. My purpose was to provide IT leadership and coordination for all RANZCO IT functions, driving digital transformation and innovative IT solutions to improve eye health across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.I brought extensive skills in IT strategy, cloud computing, cybersecurity, education technology, infrastructure, project management, and disaster recovery, among others, to the role. As IT Services Manager for Kirana Education, I led the development and implementation of innovative digital strategies to enhance student experiences and improve educational outcomes. My role encompassed both IT and business functions, where I was responsible for directing the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems, as well as continuously identifying cost-saving and streamlining opportunities.Throughout my tenure, I led a series of transformative initiatives that contributed to the success of Kirana Education. I developed Kirana's Enterprise and Information Architecture principles with a focus on linking key business processes with authoritative data sources to provide accurate, timely and valuable information to Kirana's Executive and Operational Teams.To ensure IT readiness for overseas operations, I standardised IT processes and implemented new processes with change management control. I partnered with stakeholders to improve CRM functionality, Student Management System, LMS, reorganise business units, and configure security settings. I also collaborated with HR to source and implement an HRIS system and with Industry Engagement to create a Brokers Portal for third-party partners to manage their students.In addition, I oversaw the integration of IT systems using K2 middleware and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, as well as the implementation of 3CX for the telephony VoIP system. My achievements also include the completion of organisation-wide business process mapping and the setup of a Business Solutions Team to handle ongoing continuous improvement of processes.Overall, my contributions as IT Services Manager have enabled Kirana Education to become a leader in digital transformation, with a focus on enhancing the full student lifecycle and achieving educational excellence.

As a Principal Information Technology Consultant at MicroSync from July 2012 to May 2015, I provided top-notch IT consulting and auditing services to growing companies with 100 – 1000 staff across Australia. I helped these companies achieve their business goals by offering IT strategic and operational services as an IT advisor.One of my biggest achievements during my tenure was building offshore teams in India and the Philippines to provide comprehensive IT services. As a Technology Services Team Leader and Senior Exchange/Windows Services Administrator at National ICT Australia (NICTA), I provided technical leadership and mentoring to other IT team members while ensuring the IT infrastructure environment was managed within industry best practices and appropriate architectural standards.My responsibilities included directly managing Technology Services staff members, consulting and collaborating with NICTA research groups, business teams, and operations support to deliver exceptional services, and developing relationships with vendors and third-party stakeholders.My achievements at NICTA include defining the next generation of video conferencing and desktop collaboration tools and systems to be adopted by the organization, delivering on the most important IT project at NICTA (Webcasting), and establishing the strategic direction for e-mail and related calendaring. I also led the successful end-to-end design and implementation of multiple AV and VC facilities for seminars, lectures, and inter-lab meetings, as well as the migration of multiple sites to Windows 2008 Active Directory, Exchange 2010, and Windows 7 in a complex mixed environment.Furthermore, I played a key role in outlining the strategic direction of the IT department for the next five years, implementing a new Project Life Cycle Process in collaboration with key stakeholders, and developing a mobility strategic roadmap for the organization.As a member of the IT Change Control Committee, I acted as a change control reviewer and approver, and I constantly improved process automation of systems and business processes.Overall, my contribution to NICTA enabled the organization to become a leading-edge user of sophisticated IT systems and ensure the provision of an efficient and effective IT service to all staff.
