In this role I look after accounts in the North East/ West England and Scotland. Responsible for developing business in this region by either identifying new business or through thorough account management of existing client base to maximize revenue. This is achieved by a mixture of methods; contacting accounts/ prospects to understand their needs as well as evaluating a customers spend to asses product fit and further opportunities to increase spend.

My job here entails various roles which has led me to work on several different projects. Seeing a project from start to finish, working on it from a sales point of view as well as laying the foundations of new client campaigns with regards to thorough account management and campaign set up. I have learned and acquired numerous skills which enables me to work successfully across any sector on any campaign.Notable Projects/ Campaigns - Meed Dubai - I was tasked to manage and contact their database of existing clients around the world in the construction sector. The subscription was a $1500 a year market insight magazine as well as access to the online database of upcoming construction projects in the GCC/ Middle East Area. I focused on three key areas - pure engagement/ up sell, renewals and new acquisitions; which resulted in 25 sales in a period of eight days, totalling circa $42,000. My original target was set at $12,000; I over exceeded by $30,000.Faversham House - Contacting the Sustainability Live Event exhibitors to sell tables (£1500)/ seats (£150) at the Environment and Energy Awards. With a tight deadline to meet, I managed to secure 12 bookings totaling circa £12,500. As a result of my calling, some of the exhibitors went and booked directly with the client; the estimated revenue generated for this client totaled circa £25,000.

Procom Connections is telemarketing company providing outsource solutions. My role here is to generate qualified leads for the sales team to follow up. This is done by researching, identifying and qualifying a decision maker/ company on a certain criteria. Engaging in a conversation at a decision maker level to ascertain there is a fit between their needs and our products and services.• Extensive use of a CRM software – updating records, following up leads, email marketing• Generating qualified leads based on a certain criteria• Setting appointments, qualify call backs for the sales team to follow up• Proactively canvass and contact new prospects/ business leads through cold calling across various industry sectors• Identify and speak to key decision makers• Inform prospects of key features and benefits of our productsIn this period I generated 250 qualified leads; a mixture of immediate appointments, medium term call backs, long term pipeline opportunities and a sale for £27,000.
