Product Management - Work and liaise with wider technical community, including managed system service providers, IT service desk and other operations teams, on implementation, maintenance & support of responsible business systems. Lead technical support teams and user groups to ensure on time incident reporting, problem solving, capacity management, change and configuration management are fulfilled by meeting agreed SLAs & OLAs.Project Management: Manage the delivery of solutions to achieve the targets of cost benefits, quality and timescales. Project Management Experience on large scale IT Projects implementations at SriLankan Airlines : CUPPS/CUSS upgrade project at CMB & HRI international airports in Sri Lanka. SriLankan Airlines IT is the IT Service provider to the GHA at CMB & HRI airports who provides all the CUPPS/CUSS platforms for all airlines operating from CMB and HRI. This project replaced all the hardware associated with the aged CUTE platform at both airports covering check-in, transfer, boarding and load control functions. Further a SMART CUSS channel in being implemented with a Self Baggage Drop for the first time in Sri Lanka. Swiss-AS AMOS MRO Implementation - Currently engaged into this project as a key project team member representing the IT Dept. of the airline for SriLankan Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance. Also playing an integral role in the Data Migration subproject to move data from the legacy system to NewGen AMOS.Business Partnering: Liaise with business users and stakeholders to ensure all the needed IT systems are in place at the Airport Ground Services, Engineering Divisions along with SBUs of the Airline Group.

I managed the entire IT Function at SriLankan Catering Ltd for a period of 10 months on a Secondment from SriLankan Airlines Group to SriLankan Catering to head their IT Department. Was a member of SriLankan Catering Management Team with a direct reporting line to the CEO - SriLankan Catering during the assignment and involved in strategic decision making for the organization representing the technology arm for SriLankan Catering.Led a 4 man IT team covering an application portfolio of 25+ IT applications with around the clock IT Support for a 24x7 flight catering operation. The application portfolio covered 4+ mission critical IT systems and 5+ highly operations specific systems. The operational excellence was maintained at 99.9% uptime with an in house mini data center facility, 24x7 run IT help desk with few managed services. Company Profile - SriLankan Catering is the Sri Lanka's largest airline catering facility that makes all the snacks, main dishes and desserts served on board for all the airlines operating out from BIA & MRIA, Sri Lanka. The facility runs 24x7 dishing out 23,000 meals a day (pre Covid) with 800+ staff. SriLankan Catering is a fully owned subsidiary of SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lanka's flagship carrier.
