as the teaching faculty of geosciences group. There I was; of collaborative international master program between IIRS and ITC, The Netherlands. Specifically I was tasked with teaching and guiding students of master program on remote sensing and GIS application in the field of geohydrology, geohazards mineral mapping and geoinformatics. In IIRS, we conduct many national and international courses including PG Diploma and M. Tech. for Centre for space science and technology in the Asia and Pacific (CSSTE-AP). I was involved in spatial analysis and predictive modelling using GIS/RS tools in various research projects as the geo-information scientist. I was part of the geological disaster /geohazards team of IIRS, wherein we were working on the landslide and earth quake related hazard and risk. I was also involved in Early Warning Programmes in the form of assessing rainfall threshold from automatic weather station data for landslide early warning. I had carried out landslide hazards and vulnerability analysis in Bhagirathi river valley, one of the pilgrimage route of Uttarakhand, India under my PhD research in University of Twente, The Netherlands

I have been working in NRSC as; SF and project manager

mainly involved in national level ground water prospects mapping for India under a ministry sponsored project. I was; for number of states where I guided the working level scientist to prepare hydrogeomoprhology maps on 1:50,000 scale for ground water prospects evaluation. I was instrumental to publish an ATLAS of ground water prospects maps for Jharkhand state that was done first time in India. These maps are used in the field for narrowing down the target zones for ground water source finding and exploration
