Today the business is a >400 people company, with ~$200m in revenue and offices in several countries. We raised >$200m from Insight & Goldman, and done >$100m of liquidity cumulatively (not just for us founders). Learned some things through the journey. Still on the board. Stepped off as an employee end of 2019.I started investing and supporting other entrepreneurs around 2018. Ro Health (5B), Frame.io (Sold to Adobe recently @ 1.3b) & Forter (3B) have been my main private investments. I do very few things. In 2018-2020 I have deployed >$90m into nine companies - primarily into B-pre IPO rounds, and always alongside institutional venture/growth equity firms, acting flexibly as either lead or meaningful co-investor. Good companies often want branded rounds. It is fulfilling to help craft those, when you've done a lot of them yourself and understand what it's like on the fundraising side.In 2019 I led my first $50m Series C round, into Frame.io, and joined the board on behalf of Insight. If we talk about my investing in your company with Insight I'll provide full details on how that works.In 2020 I led Homesome's $6.7m Series A with several Unicorn execs/founders, and Forter's $120m Series E on a TS I issued, with Bessemer and Felix joining.I enjoy working alongside founder CEOs and look to do few, concentrated, big things that allow me to spend a lot of time with a small group. Yes, this isn't a normal set up. Normal doesn't achieve outlier results. Ask the VC selling you if they've ever actually made >$10m as a founder. Or if they have an audited IRR >100%. Better yet, ask them how they earned the right to deploy capital in the first place - If it's not a grueling story, something is off - they had it too easy ;-)
