He received the B.S., M.S. and D.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Campina Grande, Brazil, in 2012, 2013, and 2016, respectively. Since March 2021, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering (DEER) at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), João Pessoa, Brazil. He is currently a researcher in the Power Electronics and Electrical Machine Drives Research Group (GEPAME) and Smart Grid Group (SG2), both at UFPB, and the leader of the Group of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (GEEE) at UFRPE, Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Brazil. IEEE member since 2013, volunteer of IEEE Young Professionals since 2014, Power Electronics (PELS) member since 2013, Industry Applications Society (IAS) member since 2016 and Industrial Electronics Society (IES) in 2021. In addition, since 2019, he is the coordinator of the Multi-user Laboratory of Distributed Generation (LMGD) in the Academic Unit of the Cabo de Santo Agostinho (UACSA) at UFRPE. His current research interests include multilevel converters for grid-connected applications, distributed energy resources, electrical drives, and modulation strategies.
