Completely rebranded the business and implementing a B2BC marketing strategy to leverage commercial benefits and increase sale prices by 3X, and creating new relationship with global FMCG's.

Arava Export Growers is a privately held company owned by Livnat Family. Arava serves hundreds of framers in Israel and abroad with transporting, storing, marketing and selling their perishables goods. Arava is one of the leading firms in Israel with global footprint. During my tenure I initiated, led and implemented a successful turnaround throughout all aspects and components of the organization. I turned the business to profitable by restructuring the organizational structure, operating processes and completely revising the commercial flow. In addition, I initiated and implemented new strategic corporate plan which includes an innovative go-to-market strategy and new growth engines as well as establishing sales offices in the EU and US to support the business and local customers’ needs.

During my tenure gross profit margins grew by 25% while reducing working capital needs by 20%.

During my tenure as Group CFO and EVP is was responsible for Gadot's global financial and IT activities, as well as cross divisional projects. I successfully managed the Group's cashflow needs under very tight constraints, through optimization of working capital needs, sale of assets and cashflow optimization. I was also responsible for the successful disposition of the Group's equity under receivership, through close coordination with the Receivers and all other stakeholders. In addition, I was responsible for management of cross-divisional projects as well as strategic projects.

I also developed the Group's strategic expansion plan and was responsible for the origination, execution and integration of the Group's M&A activities, including penetration into new business activities and new geographies. During my tenure, the Group completed seven acquisitions, in Israel and internationally, successfully financed the acquired assets with debt placement of ILS 500M and completed full integration within three months.
