• ML features lead for Recorder – Google's innovative audio recording app, introducing many first of its kind on-device ML technologies.Researched the domain, initiated collaborations across the company, and formed work plans.I owned 3 core ML components: Smart Scrolling for content navigation, Automatic content tags for titling, and real-time sound events classification. Structured the architectures, researched models, utilized pre-existing tech, and integrated the features into the final product.Recorder app was launched as a pre-installed Pixel app at the annual company hardware event with a live on-stage demo. Recorder was mentioned as “The biggest surprise of Google’s Pixel event" (CNN), the "best in-class app" (CNET), and “The best app of the year” (Inc. magazine). The on-device ML features were highlighted in the media as “features that very much set it apart from traditional recording apps”(The Verge) making “[Recorder feel] like something of a godsend” (Engadget).• Lead the R&D of a multi-task ML recommendation system serving billions of users annually - I owned the development of the model and data transformations as well as devised the solution architecture consisting of: * Big-data pipeline for data collection. * Model training pipeline & offline evaluation. * Serving the solution in production.• Designed & built Big-Data analytics pipelines for monitoring campaigns performance & health metrics.
