I took my first computer class back in 2007 (when Windows XP was still ahead of the curve) and I couldn’t imagine it would become an ever-growing passion. In the years to follow I gained experience in systems administration, certified myself with several vendors, and earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology at BYU-Idaho. Today I'm obsessed with SaaS, IaaS, IAM, systems integration, automation, and optimization. My ultimate goal as an IT professional is to provide a good night's sleep to my team and myself by making sure that all the systems I take care of are working as expected. I cherish the old saying, “virtue lies in the middle” because it applies to any context, even IT, implying flexibility, empathy, compromise, and common sense, in other words, me in a nutshell.
