As the Head of IT, overseeing a team of over 30 professionals across Operations, Service Desk, Business Tools, Business Intelligence, and Project Office, my role is to provide strategic leadership and direction. This involves guiding both the leaders and the 15+ direct reports under my supervision, ensuring alignment with our company's strategy and global objectives. By translating these into specific goals for our various teams and departments, we enable individual and departmental success.In our Business Development department, we engage with users across the company to understand their needs and translate them into superior IT solutions. Through our internal Project Management Office, which I lead, we ensure that new ideas are developed into business case proposals and delivered according to the statement of work defined during the analysis phase. This alignment with business users and consultants ensures the delivery of the right product at the right time.Business Intelligence also falls under my purview, as data is crucial for supporting business development. Our core team, skilled in both front-end design and back-end solutions via Microsoft Fabric and Power-Bi, ensures the creation of the right tools for analyzing relevant data. This allows us to anticipate future trends and understand past issues effectively.Our Business Tools team comprises experts with specialized knowledge in our top 10 critical production programs. This expertise is pivotal in optimizing our workflows and ensuring the most efficient business processes. Through BPMN and strategic dialogue, we map out business processes, making it easier to identify areas for optimization and potential automation. This approach allows our specialists to focus on their core competencies rather than mundane tasks. To support these initiatives, we have a dedicated Integration team adept at understanding complex solutions and data flows.
