I have always been passionate about the impact of the digital on the human organizations (companies, society).Thus, 30 years ago, I founded ITEANU LAW FIRM, which I still manage today, with 12 professionals practicing law in four main areas related to IT Law.Intellectual property on software, databases and digital creations protected by various legal tools (copyright, patents, trademarks, special protection for producers of databases, know-how, contracts), data and personal data including, privacy and e-reputation, cybersecurity (cybercriminality), ecommerce.In addition, I like teaching. I am a Professor at the universities of Paris 11 Sceaux in the Master 2 titled “spatial activities and telecoms” and at Paris 1 Sorbonne in the Master 2 titled “digital rights”.Lastly, I wrote five books « Internet and the Law » (April 1996), « The new telecom market » (May 1998), « All cybercriminals » (May 2004) and « Digital identities in questions » (June 2008). My last publication "Quand le digital défie l'Etat de droit" (November 2016) was rewarded by the International Cybersecurity Forum in Lille (France) in January 2017.I am the lawyer who is the most cited in the first French jurisprudence database Legalis.net.I am Honorary Chairman of the French Chapter of the Internet Society (past President from 2000 to 2003 of ISOC France and President of the european alliance of the Internet Society Chapters in 2004).
