I'm Fazlur Rehman Khan (he/him), a Health Economics enthusiast, Medical Doctor, and an avid foodie.I have been working on my Start-up since 2012 and am always eager to learn more about the Health and Innovation industry. I have experience working with student groups, school boards, non-profit organizations, and start-up companies.I hold a degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery ( M.B.B.S ) from Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences. I am a passionate about qualitative research, teaching, capacity building of young researchers and advocate for patient and provider engagement. I believe that when Patients are better informed, they become experts in their own health and well-being.As Chief Executive Officer of GHYF, I am working with others to create better Health Care Systems. I have developed, implemented and supervised innovative programs in Global South.Outside of the office, you can find me developing Strategies, Investing in Stock Market, on a bike trail, or binge-watching a tv series (always looking for recommendations)!My research Interests significantly contributes to expanding the field of health financing, health inequality, equity in health and health care, social determinants of health, health economics methodology design, economics of ageing and in the field of Innovation Strategies inclined towards open Innovation while establishing meaningful North-South and South-South collaborations.Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have consistently demonstrated my adaptability by seamlessly transitioning between different roles and environments.
