As a Marketing Specialist, my role involves reaching out to potential clients through phone calls and in-person visits to promote SecureNexa’s cybersecurity solutions. I educate businesses and homeowners about our services, tailoring recommendations to meet their specific needs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is key, as well as staying updated on SecureNexa’s products and industry trends to address client questions effectively.

At the Flatiron School cybersecurity course, I completed an intensive training program designed to replicate real-world cybersecurity environments, where I took on the role of a Cybersecurity Analyst. Throughout the program, I gained hands-on experience in detecting and analyzing threats, responding to security incidents, and conducting vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses. I was actively involved in daily security operations, using industry-standard tools such as Splunk and Wireshark to monitor network traffic and ensure the security of simulated environments. I also developed a strong understanding of regulatory standards and risk management practices to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information. By collaborating with peers on complex cybersecurity challenges and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, I honed my ability to provide actionable insights and solutions. This comprehensive training equipped me with the knowledge and skills to contribute effectively as a SOC Analyst, ready to safeguard digital assets against evolving threats.
