The Data Science and Analytics Lead creates and implements the strategy to reinforce data-centric operations, in which data-driven decision-making is becoming of ultimate importance to lead the observatory to its maximum achievable performance. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and to promote the data-science culture within the JAO. The Data Science and Analytics Lead works in close collaboration with the rest of the operational teams in Engineering, Computing, and Science Operations departments.
