with 10 years of experience in copywriting, I have worked in a plethora of industries, and above all have learned how to be adaptable. Hospitality, Christian, Leadership, Parenting and Retail are my strongest niches. For many years I didn't know what my skill set was called. I have Associate degrees in Accounting and Business, and my Bachelor's in Ministry and Leadership. In every position I was hired for I always became the "go-to" gal to write brochures, handbooks, websites, marketing/advertising materials. I am honest, persuasive, and passionate about the projects I work on, and these attributes always shine through on the materials created. In 2020, my husband and I bought a bookstore. It had been closed for two years before we bought it, and our grand opening was the week we all agreed to "two weeks to slow the spread". Needless to say, like most other individuals, I quickly learned to pivot and pioneer. I took our brick and mortar business and ventured into the e-commerce world. I was later asked to help our downtown community build a business website, promoting downtown, and helping inform people of events and activities available downtown. Next I was asked to help with a community story time. Building websites, creating advertisements, launching marketing strategies, and lots of writing. This time it was grant proposals, Event details, Sponsorship letters, as well as social media ads.Finding that I had a knack for this industry, I started taking course through AWAI (America Writers and Artists Institute) and have since seen tremendous growth in all areas of my writing. I have learned to fine tune my copy skills, and I am continuing to dive into a deeper understanding SEO and Social Media Algorithms.
