Itsamistry Design Studio specialises in hand crafted jewellery, made mainly from sterling silver, combined with semi precious stones, artisan or glass beads, Swarovski or Czech crystals. Anita designs and custom makes a unique range of her own designs, where no two pieces of jewellery are the same or designs bespoke pieces incorporating client’s ideas and themes. The product range includes necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets and hairpieces and is now being diversified into cake jewellery. Anita has also turned her previous art and card-making hobby into ideas for Wedding themed ranges starting with Wedding invitations, place settings, seating plans, Wedding Albums, then, extending the same theme into cake decorations or cake jewellery, working together with local cake designer Virginia Valentine.Anita has also been invited to submit a craft jewellery project recently for a National Craft Magazine, gaining contacts overseas, and was subsequently asked to run a workshop in the USA and is further developing a series of workshops at her studio for adults and children from age 8 upwards.

November 2015 to current date – Reception and switch board operator at Clyde & Co LLP. Meet and greet internal and external clients. Manage room booking database. Answer and send emails to internal clients. Transfer calls to UK and international offices. Clear and manage all meeting rooms – set up laptops, upload files onto laptop, set up audio visual conference calls. Created graphic and written working instructions for the switch board. Collated and created spreadsheets showing incorrect data for the IT department to analyse and help correct the switch board data.

Trafford General Hospital as switchboard operator. Directing incoming calls to relevant departments or wards in the hospital. Liaising with GP patient referrals. Transferring calls to the medical team within the hospital using the bleep system. Booking taxis for staff members or specimen samples to be taken to other hospitals. Out of hours bookings for the engineers to schedule work in the hospital for emergencies on site. Making emergency cardiac arrest calls via the bleep system. Making sure the on call rota is up to date on a daily basis. Chase up emails and updates for the medical team and for the mental health department. Putting calls through to the relevant crisis team members.
