I worked with the Ventura County Homeless and Housing Coalition to develop and oversee a service learning project for a class coordinated between CSU Channel Islands and Oxnard College. The project ultimately involved twelve students who researched legislation on homeless and housing issues, wrote letters to local and state representatives advocating for.

This job was centered around bringing caregiving to clients' homes. The company has a philosophy of empowering clients to stay comfortable and safe in their homes even as they require assistance. I helped maintain and improve the standard of living of clients through effective communication, supportive reminders, and engaging activities.
