As the Lead Designer, I am responsible for creating compelling graphic design solutions that drive our marketing, packaging, and branding initiatives. I combine my artistic skills with a deep understanding of our target audience to develop visually striking and effective designs that resonate with our customers.Key Responsibilities:Designing and implementing innovative marketing collateral, including brochures, catalogs, flyers, and digital assets to support our product launches and promotional campaigns.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to translate business objectives into visually captivating designs that enhance brand identity and drive engagement.Developing packaging designs that not only ensure the safety and integrity of our products but also reflect our commitment to quality and excellence.Creating visually appealing branding materials such as logos, brand guidelines, and visual assets that communicate our brand's values and resonate with our target audience.Staying up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of our designs.Achievements:•Successfully revamped the company's marketing collateral, resulting in an increase in customer engagement.•Spearheaded a cross-functional team, developing new packaging designs, resulting in a cohesive and impactful branding for our flagship product line.•Designed and implemented a cohesive branding strategy, leading to increased brand recognition and a growth in social media activity across platforms.

•The Marketing department shares a ton of freedom and responsibility at Trader Joe's so I was privileged to work in a cross-disciplinary fashion.•Pitched, developed and executed the design of over 150 packages across all sections of the store.•Designed and road-tested display, body copy, script and handmade typefaces for use across packaging and marketing projects.•Ideated concepts and executed final artowork for murals, event graphics and print collateral. •Designed and animated hand-drawn graphics for the Trader Joe's podcast. •Developed the look and feel of the Trader Joe's mascot, the Fearless Flyer, from an existing puppet, yes- a puppet, bringing it closer to the brand's established aesthetic.•Executed all illustration of Fearless Flyer character for both in-house and customer-facing graphics.•Illustrated hundreds of assets for Fearless Flyer marketing collateral, matching style to vintage graphics of the 19th century.
