Having held dramatic theatrical roles in Bittersweet Sadie as Dane, A Raisin in the Sun as Walter Lee, The Dutchman and The Graduate he is tried and true. Having trained under the greatest masters and coaches Brando has studied with Los Angeles’ most distinguished.Diligently, resourcing those chief in their craft, he found Howard Fine Acting, where he studied “Foundation” under the master himself, Howard Fine. Later, his cousin Sidney Poitier referred him to The Actors Studio where he met his coach, actress, Salome Jens. Because of his natural knack for funny, Brando also sought out Harvey Lembeck’s Comedy Workshop for “Improvisation/Character” and later became a Stand Up-Comedy touring the nation. Currently working on the theatrical play The Drip and the short film Bittersweet Sadie, Brando is creating some gripping works to wrench the heart and pump the adrenaline of every viewer. But of course, no clock stopping performance will be without his famed comedic underpinnings, the foundation of a sharp craft he continues to cultivate and hone. Brando Robinson is a proud papa to his baby girl Berkeley Rose. He has been drawing cartoons and portraiture since he was a young boy.He can pop-lock and dance with the best of them and is a public speaker at juvenile detention centers, inspiring youth to see their inner greatness. While penning a few works of children’s books based on his daughter, and a special edition inspirational book for the underdogs of our generation--Brando intends to sink his writing skills into the world of authorship and books.
