About Chris Quamme Rhoden
I write computer programs and some of them have been pretty good. I've designed and built a couple of things that scaled better than I thought they would. Some of my computer programs are used by more people than I have met in my life every hour, which is a weird feeling. Sometimes they are used by more people than I have met in my whole life every second. I'm pretty proud of that.I used to think I knew all about computers, but not anymore.I like to write computer programs that people can read, because the source code is available and because the source code is understandable. I usually manage one or the other, but a few times I have landed both.I care a little bit more about making the world better than I do about making the world richer. I like it best when I can do both, but that's pretty rare.I've listened to podcasts every day for over 15 years, and I've been able to think about them at work almost every day for over 10 years.
