Student MentorMonash Student Association (Msa) Nov 2019 - PresentMelbourne, Victoria, AustraliaCurrently assisting a number of students in the development of their own creative works. I have discovered that in approching the development of texts from a dramaturgical perspective and in providing to students a breadth of resources not only from the traditional litterary and theatrical areas but also from areas of ciritical thought and academic research - students are finding deeper and more profound meanings within their projects. This job has also assisted in my personal development - transifguring my own personal knowledge of the creation of meaningful stories into teachable, comprehensible morsels has forced me to objectify my knowledge. In teaching others about the intricacies of exoerience and the creation of meaningful events - I have simultaneously taught myself. -

Marketing InternTraffik Group Oct 2020 - Nov 2020Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaWorked alongside Experiential Marketing Agency Traffik (Clemenger BBDO) as a production assistant across a number of projects. Clients included Mondelez, Carlton United Breweries, HBF, Mazda, City of Melbourne, and Myer. My main role was to assist in the production of the Myer VIP Christmas event – a single night of entertainment rolling out concurrently across 25 locations nationally. Event was hugely successful both in terms of customer feedback and economic measures. Was also given the opportunity to produce my own events for CUB as part of their State of Origin 2020 campaign. The short time I have spent with Traffik has been incredible. I could not ask for a more generous, giving, and supportive team. They are creative, strategic, and driven… but most importantly they are genuine. At a time when authenticity rules the advertising world, it has never been more important to have a team that not just understands but embodies that human element so often missing in the marketing sphere. Traffik Group has it in droves. -
Marketing InternCheer Me Jul 2020 - Sep 2020Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaI've just spent a fantastic couple of months working with Melbourne based tech start-up Cheer Me - a social media app designed to encourage an active lifestyle in young teens. It was incredibly valuable being able to work in such a small team of distinct thinkers and creators. A team of just five: all of us arriving from divergent industries, educational pathways, and backgrounds. The sheer diversity of thought meant that discussions often travelled down unexpected and illuminating pathways. Each day’s discussions were met with both new and profound discoveries, and unexpected learning opportunities. The unanticipated benefit of working with such a small team was the ability to witness the direct impact of my work on the company. Every idea, every Google meet, every keystroke led to new thoughts, discussions, changes, reinterpretations. You could see the brand and the company grow and shape itself around you. I’ve had an absolutely wonderful time working with Cal and Eric on various tasks, including the development of an integrated social media strategy and user value proposition. I finalised my internship by developing a in depth Tone of Voice document for the brand, the principles of which are to be implemented in copy throughout the app and in marketing collateral. I am so incredibly grateful to Eric and Cal for this opportunity they have so graciously provided to me - for their time, their trust, their wisdom, and their experience. Not only did they grant me the freedom to meaningfully contribute to a project that they have been passionate about for many years, they also provided me with the resources and leaning opportunities to be able to make these same meaningful contributions to my own future projects and undertakings. Hopefully once restrictions begin to ease, there will be time for a pint or two (on me) to celebrate all the Friday after-work drinks we’ve missed out on.

Assistant Director - Suddenly, Last SummerRed Stitch Actors Theatre Jul 2018 - Oct 2018Melbourne, AustraliaAssistant director on Red Stitch's production of 'Suddenly, Last Summer' by Tennessee Williams. Gained significant insight into the development of creative projects on limited budgets and timeframes. More increasingly due to this position, I have come to understand the importance of depth of reasoning in the underpinning strategy of creative projects, and the need for leaders to - in the facilitation and bringing together of ideas and efforts of individuals into a cohesive outcome - be able to inspire their co-workers not only with passion and the bright spark of an idea, but through reasoning and deeper understanding of 'why' certain aspects of a project are important. If the team is able to understand how each element interlaces to complete the whole, the project and the team become stronger as a result. This realisation has driven me to ensure that my work holds a firm internal strategic framework that actions and ideas are able to be built upon. -
