Drawing upon my computer science background from the ones-and-zeros level of the backend to the human-computer interaction of the frontend, I design and develop creative solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Whether it's web solutions, mobile applications, or digital communication, I am a full-stack developer and have a team of contractors that I hire to make ideas a reality.Services offered include: software development, brand consulting, content creation (video, audio, image, writing), and building out online presences (websites, livestreams, social media, newsletters, etc) that showcase you and what you have to offer. My mission statement is, "Quality in all ways, always." This is the foundation upon which the relationships of both my colleagues and clients are built. Each of us is unique and the work we do should rise from who we are to represent us accurately and effectively.

The focus of my writing and photography out of this hub is on humanity, the natural world, and the important intersection between. Currently, most of this work is being funnelled into my ongoing and pop-up newsletters. My photography is also available for licensing through the Offset agency (and their parent company Shutterstock Premier).

I drive evergreen content creation for the Mediation Services blog as a marketing strategy via education, added value, and SEO performance. Concurrently, I manage their Wordpress website (security updates, backups, etc). I also provide technical support for their online and in-office infrastructure to problem-solve and develop systems for moving forward.

As a meditation teacher, I see my role as making the practice as accessible as possible while maintaining its integrity. In addition to in-person workshops and guest teaching at local teacher trainings, I have co-produced several online meditation courses. This includes a free 28-day online meditation course funded by the Safe at Home Grant (Province of Manitoba) for mental health support during the COVID-19 pandemic and collaborations with the Insight Timer app. These projects are infused and informed by my multimedia background, such as showcasing binaural audio recordings as a unique digital tool for meditation.I am currently studying with Roshi Joan Halifax at the Upaya Zen Centre. Past experiences have included studying with Jonathan Austman, Michael Stone, and Paul Grilley.

I served as a team lead for user interface design and implementation on a software development team of 16 people, with a focus on developing and maintaining large web-based applications used across Canada and internationally in hospital and private settings.

As a software developer on the PowerPay team, I built and refined payroll applications - ensuring a high standard of work to maintain the stability and security of this large national application. I also worked closely with business analysts and the project manager to determine customer requirements and collaboratively implement solutions in the analysis of user experience design.

I was part of the Information Systems Team which developed software for internal use; specifically, I designed a web application that interfaced with legacy servers to simplify data management and supplement Linux command line usage. I also assisted in rebuilding the server network in fresh infrastructure and collaborated with the team leader to ensure a seamless transition of information and production system migration.
