Missouri State Advertising Team functions as a student-run advertising agency that works with real clients and competes in national competitions. This semester we partnered with the McCain Institute and EdVenture Partners, in a national competition with 10 other universities, to create a campaign that prevents targeted violence. As President, I led a team of 13 students in the process of developing branding, copy, design, promotional materials, and a website for our fully-functional digital campaign. Through the use of strategic digital marketing strategies, we were able to effectively communicate with our target market, and within one month of launching our campaign, we reached over 42,000 people organically and over 115,000 through paid ads on social media. We virtually presented our campaign to a panel of 7 judges and received first place in the competition and $5,000 to continue our campaign after the competition. We are currently in the process of creating a 501(c)(3) organization, so we can continue implementing our program in the future.

Greater St. Louis Area

The AAF-Ad Club Internship Hop gave me the opportunity to intern for eight different agencies in the St. Louis area. Each week I worked with a new client, completing a new project, at a new agency. A few of the agencies I worked for are Cannonball, Osborn Barr, and New Honor Society.

Springfield, Missouri

I was a writer for student newsletters and campus campaigns. I created engaging social media content to promote the MSU Leadership brand. I concepted, shot, and produced influential promotional videos for MSU leadership programs.

Springfield, Missouri Area

I was responsible for the day-to-day well-being of 42 first-year college students. I listened and communicated with residents in a one-on-one and group setting. I strategically managed a $1,800 budget to plan creative and meaningful events for nearly 400 students.

Greater St. Louis Area

I worked on the Weekends Only account to assist with their Search Engine Optimization. I wrote over 500 Meta Titles and Meta Descriptions to help improve Weekends Only's organic search results.
