In this role, I played two critical functions. First, I acted as an IT Asset Analyst, focused primarily on hardware. After defining ITAM hardware process, I implemented these processes, thereby effectively managing the complete lifecycle of the devices from identifying the initial need to disposal of unused, outdated, and failed devices. In addition, I acted as PC Deployment Manager, overseeing the deployment of all compute devices in a 3000+ PC environment. After revising established process, I doubled the number of PC's deployed per week, cut the average deployment time in half, and significantly improved overall customer satisfaction. I managed the process and personnel involved with replacement of failed PCs, the updating of old PCs, and the initial deployment of PCs to new users.

As a member of the Account Operations Management Team, working on the nationwide CIGNA account, responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on service level agreements and ensuring adherence to all documented process and procedural requirements as stated in the Statement of Work

After obtaining certification on thirty-five different printers, experience includes monochrome printers, laser color printers, LED color printers, and solid ink color printers. Day to day responsibilities also include new hire training, employee improvement, parts inventory management, time management, accurate and timely documentation of ongoing and completed service calls, and direct interaction with customers with little to no supervisory interaction, demanding constant independent judgments.

Assist the Computer Network Specialist with planning, implementing, and administrative duties. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all office and clinical electronic equipment, including the maintenance of software and hardware inventory, as well as documentation of repairs and changes made to any equipment. Accomplishments include (a) replacing cat3 cable with cat5e and cat6 facility wide, as well as running cable as needed for new clients, (b) designing, implementing, and administrating a 802.11b wireless network, (c) converting all dBase 5 databases into MS Access databases with user friendly, menu driven interfaces, (d) coordinating vendors in the creation of a software interface between the Hospital System and the Lab System. Other responsibilities and duties include (a)serving as the facility wide help desk, (b) printer, copier, and computer repair and maintenance, (c) updating and maintaining all client software including OS updates and Virus Scanning software,(d)build new systems, upgrade old systems, (e) train users on general software use, (f) act as backup tape operator and user administrator when the network specialist is not available on servers including Windows NT, Windows 2003, NetWare 5.1, and NetWare 6, (g) general telecommunications work, adding new phone lines, setting up voice mail, directly interacting with the PBX.
