The internship at Royal Delft started on February 1 and ended on June 30, 2018 in the city Delft, the Netherlands. The duration of this internship was 21 weeks in total. Royal Delft is the leading producer of authentic Delft Blue decorative and modern earthenware. The company is not only active as a knowledge institute for ceramics but also receives annually 130,000 visitors from all over the world. My position during this internship program was as an Marketing Communication Intern in the Tourism Department.As a Marketing Communication intern, the main task was to help contribute to an effective online promotion of Royal Delft to the Chinese outbound travelling market especially to the Chinese fully independent travellers. Therefore, I needed to take care of the social media and follow online trends, generate free publicity, coordinate and accompanying press and media visits and write promotional texts.
