Current•Authored and successfully advocated for legislative measures, including the prohibition of e-cigarettes, the establishment of the Sheriff’s Department Oversight Commission, the creation of the African African American Reparations Advisory Committee, the formation of the Pacific Islander Cultural District, strengthening the local language access ordinance, and the implementation of measures to prevent illegal dumping. •Developed the first district safety plan in the city, pioneering efforts to prevent violence through collaborative initiatives with law enforcement, community organizations, and city departments.
