Senior Director Of Campaigns And Mobilization
CurrentI lead the tactical direction and efficiency of all campaigns and mobilization efforts, ensuring they align with our organizational goals and make a significant impact. My role involves formulating and leading mobilizing strategies while providing leadership for key issue campaigns, including those focused on immigration, women and girls, and climate justice. One of my proudest achievements was championing early childhood development in Black and Latine communities by spearheading an Early Childhood Development (ECD) Initiative from 2023 to 2025. Through this initiative, we collaborated with over 100 Latina and Black community members via Participatory Action Research (PAR) and increased the capacity of 500 clergy and faith leaders, driving meaningful change in these communities. We also conducted a survey among 1,000 participants around the Church's attitudes towards early childhood development. In addition, I successfully acquired $200K in funding to build the Pathways to Wholeness Symposium, bringing together key leaders to advance discussions on health, spirituality, and equity. I also created, boosted, and connected high-quality videos for seven California organizations, facilitating key stakeholder engagement, including a leader from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. To further empower BIPOC faith leaders, I introduced a one-year intensive Rising Leaders Fellowship Program, enabling spiritually grounded justice work. My efforts also led to securing $500K in funding and $195K in grants for community projects, significantly reinforcing local advocacy initiatives. We created a resilient network of 30 BIPOC faith leaders from nine different spiritual traditions and eight Christian denominations across 15 states and the District of Columbia.

Current
Immigration Campaign Coordinator
As part of my leadership at Sojourners, I orchestrated the Immigration Campaign, equipping clergy with the necessary faith foundations, advocacy education, and policy solutions through carefully crafted articles, advocacy meetings, and public events. I also introduced The Church’s Response to the Immigration Crisis program in partnership with Fuller Theological Seminary’s Centro Latino, which provided a structured platform for addressing these critical issues.
Spanish Translator And Interpreter
Church Relations And Outreach Manager
I revised volunteer initiatives, recruiting over 400 volunteers to accompany newly arrived refugee families and individuals. I organized citizenship fairs, providing free legal consultations. My efforts were focused on offering critical support to affected communities while also planning and administering advocacy meetings with elected officials. I drove policy research, engaged participants in meaningful ways, and actively collaborated in local policy-making meetings to influence positive change. Additionally, I fostered effective church partnerships and prepared specialized training materials and curricula to engage bilingual, bicultural millennials as community bridges/puentes. This work was carried out in close collaboration with the Matthew 25 team, ensuring a smooth and impactful integration of young leaders into our advocacy efforts.
