Associate Director, Experience + Site Merchandising
As the Associate Director of Experience and Site Merchandise at Universal Music Group, I am responsible for shaping and enhancing the overall user experience and site merchandise strategy for our online stores. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition, customer retention, fan engagement, site-conversion, and overall revenue growth.During my time thus far, I've launched Yotpo Loyalty Programs on 8 UMG stores, Attentive SMS Programs on 12 stores, managed the integration and on-site deployment of Route Shipping Protection across all Tier 1 and Tier 2 stores, and oversaw the roll-out of our proprietary Back-in-Stock app across over a dozen of our stores.General Responsibilities:- Contributed to the overall user experience strategy for Universal Music Group's digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our fans and customers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audience/marketing, e-commerce store management, creative strategy, and product, to ensure alignment and consistency across all digital touchpoints. - Conduct regular analysis and reporting to track key performance indicators, identify opportunities for optimization, and make data-driven recommendations for website enhancements. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design, site merchandising, and e-commerce, and apply this knowledge to enhance our digital platforms. - Work closely with external partners and vendors to continuously improve the user experience and maximize merchandise sales potential. - Manage individual Experience Leads, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to foster their professional development and ensure successful execution of projects.
