Taylor Hahn is a Managing Partner at House of Rolison. Colleagues describe them as " I have both managed and pair programmed with Taylor while working on a series of MVPs in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. The software was based on contemporary tools and libraries -- React GraphQL, JavaScript, and relational databases. We used GitLab for a development platform and deployed with Zeit. These applications addressed management of financial and human resource budgets for large construction projects -- including billion-dollar stadiums. Taylor can be given an assignment that is expected to take somewhere between 2 hours and 2 days. Her results are clear and useful. She can work at a highly conceptual level, yet she can carry out highly detailed or even tedious unpleasant tasks. Taylor gets great satisfaction out of completing something even when the duration and difficulty are more than expected. When exposed to a new library, she can experiment and push herself until she gets results. On our project, Taylor had to master queries in both SQL and GraphQL. Some of our work was on Azure -- this part of the project was not mature enough to leverage unit testing tools available under Azure DevOps. Designing from a low level using the command line, Taylor introduces useful and repeatable tests for key parts of the software. In our project, Taylor did work most of her work in JavaScript with some Python and even a little ReasonML. Taylor can have a playful spirit even when the work is hard and pair programming with her is a pleasure. I would not hesitate to work with her on future projects. "
