This position plays a key role in tracking and managing strong relationships with donors and organizational members. In addition to providing administrative support to the development program, this position has a special focus on sustaining and growing a diverse, statewide base of organizational members. I also provide significant support in planning our annual conference of 750+ people across the state working to end homelessness.

As the statewide champion for housing, the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance is a powerful coalition of diverse organizations and individuals working together to build and protect safe, healthy, affordable homes for everyone in Washington.-Conference on Ending Homelessness: 2-day conference for service providers, policy makers, government officials, and housing advocates. -Soliciting sponsorships, and executing sponsor benefits. -Securing a scholarship pool via sponsorships: managed scholarship outreach plan, applications, and awards to people with lived experience to increase accessibility. -Working with the NASW to provide LMHC with CEU credits. -Execute Bring Washington Home annual signature fundraiser: manage sponsors, table captains, staff/volunteer work plans, registration, and gifts. -Manage our member organization's relationship's and dues as part of our fundraising and advocacy strategy. -Manage donor portfolios of $5,000 and bellow.-Manage and execute all giving campaign work plans: Spring, End of Year, and PAC. -Manage database: running reports, adding and editing constituent information.-Raise funds for our C-4 sister organization, Washington Housing Alliance Action Fund through our PAC.

Maintained the front desk as a receptionist/operations assistant.-Greeted donors, students, and guests at the front office and provided adequate customer service. -Ordered supplies, made photocopies, and handled other office tasks. -Entered data regarding student information into Efforts of Outcome software. -Initiated all gifts that came to the Seattle location: checks, credit card, cash, and through drop box. -Ensured all gifts were tracked, deposited, and kept record of. -Made arrangements outside the office: did off-site logistics for staff training. -Collected all invoices

Summer Search in a national non-profit that provides mentoring, experiences, and practical skills to enable low-income students to get into and succeed in college. It begins in a student’s sophomore year of high school and continues through college. I was a Summer Search participant and alumna, Class of 2016.-Prepared multiple donor research profiles using online resources like: Wealth Engine, Zillow, Linked In, and Facebook.-Assisted with Summer Search’s chief fundraising event which brought in $368,295.-Helped locate program beneficiaries who could provide testimonials.-Entered donor information into Raiser’s Edge.-Drafted acknowledgement letter sent to luncheon donors.

John Muir Elementary In Partnership With Franklin High School

-Worked with 10 students with mild to severe autism.-Created lesson plans for students.-Worked with each child one-on-one and provided extra emotional, and educational support.

Trained and coached school-aged (4th-5th graders) to tutor 1st graders in to order supplement the districts need to improve student reading scores in preparation for state tests in the future, which is alarmingly a districts method of measuring drop out rates in the future. All site assistants were obligated to teach young tutors to be the best and use the most practical methods to teach young children in a gentle and effective manner. -Managed and supervised 30 students -Performed read alouds during their snack time- On-going coaching and mentoring for reading coaches -Filled in for absent reading coaches.

Team Read is a local non-profit that is dedicated to closing the opportunity gap among low-income, students of color, and English as a second language students that need support beyond classroom time. Team Read works with local high school students to assist in praising, and fostering a passion for reading for young readers. Personal reading tutor to 2nd and 3rd grade students in preparation for long term academic goals.
