Itzel Coronado is a practitioner of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, licensed by the state of California, and nationally certified. Her work adheres to the nature-based spirit of ancient Chinese medicine while keeping relevant to modern times. More than just treating diseases, Itzel promotes preventative health, wellness and patient empowerment. She is very committed to helping people feel their best and really enjoys her work. She has also successfully treated a number of men and women for a variety of issues such as pain management, anxiety, depression, stress reduction, digestive conditions, allergies, adverse reactions to radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy, insomnia, hypertension and many other internal and external pathologies. Additionally, Itzel practiced at the Centro de Rehabilitacion e Integracion Social in Mexico City, Initiative for low-income families and Children with Disabilities, a program providing medical care to children who suffer from physical disabilities and chronic illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia and diverse syndromes. Itzel is a general practitioner treating women, men and children with a wide range of conditions utilizing a variety of healing tools including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, eastern nutrition, modern technologies and lifestyle counseling in her practice. While Itzel treats a wide variety of pathologies, she has a particular interest in cosmetic, digestive issues, anxiety and depression, PTSD, phobias, pain management, allergies and supporting cancer care. BackgroundItzel was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. Her diverse background and experiences led her to an interest in the human condition. It was while studying as a surgeon student at the renowned UNAM Medicine School in Mexico City that she became interested in Traditional Medicine. She observed people's struggles with illness and pain and as a result of Chinese Medicine achieve individual health, happiness, balance and well-being. This experience triggered her own journey of helping people to feel their best, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
