My name is Itziar Avila and I’m a Law and International Relations’ student at Universidad Europea de Madrid with an academic excellence scholarship and a passion for commercial law. Throughout my academic career, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and improving my skills through both academic and hands-on experiences. Since my first year of university, I have been involved in the activities of my university's legal clinic, participating in various projects. One of these was a legal advisory project for an association that wanted to establish a company. Similarly, I have sought to understand what it is like to work in a busy law firm. I am currently working at Freshfields as a front office receptionist. This opportunity has given me a broader perspective on the type of work and clients that a busy legal environment handles and allowed me to develop a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
