• Modified injection timing, injection duration, and exhaust gas recirculation to achieve a target indicated mean effective pressure at each point, to ensure the power output was consistent across all data readings.
• Wrote a MATLAB script to calculate, record, and graph the average readings of a smoke particulate size sensor to visualize trends and margins of error in emissions of a Ford Ecoboost engine running biodiesel fuel.
• Independently ran a dynamometer bench of a Yanmar diesel powered generator to compare fuel consumption, power output, and emissions of regular diesel vs. algae-based biodiesel fuel.
