  Eirscot Civil Engineering are a BT Openreach, Telent, contractor, with main activity to demolish and rebuild BT underground chambers (manholes, boxes), laying ducts, building tunnels for BT ducts, in and around London. I have worked on projects such as Riverlinx SPV, Silvertown Tunnel, HS2 London Euston, Liverpool Street developments, West Hendon upgrade schemes, large diversionary schemes for Cycle Lanes in Edmonton, Highbury Corner, Hanover Square.Duties included :- Attending meetings with the client, principal contractor, council representatives;- Assist and manage in feasibility studies surveys;- Delivering inductions to new employees and subcontractors, site safety briefings and toolbox talks;- Ensure that all Health and Safety, quality and Environmental requirements are in place and monitored;- Ensure delivery of Plant and materials, and all required equipment is in a safe condition;- Ensure that all Temporary Works TW, are properly checked, constructed, maintained and dismantled;- Ensure that manhole steel reinforcement, formwork shuttering, comply with the design and specifications; - A first class degree knowledge of the BT Openreach standards, procedures and specifications;- Identifying and costing for works that fall outside of contractual synthetics;- Closing and booking projects, with relevant synthetics and drawings.
