I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's Student in Computer Science from the Federal University of Viçosa. In this project, I conduct research on robot navigation, where I seek to develop algorithms for motion planning, allowing autonomous robots to perform tasks in disordered environments. Specifically, I work with three types of problems:• Development of algorithms for a specific class of system, called hybrid dynamic systems. These are systems that have several modes of operation, each with its own sets of dynamics and discrete events that trigger transitions between these different modes. The challenge in planning these systems lies, not only in the behavior of a system within a specific mode, but also in planning when and how the systems will make this transition.• Higher order planning in actuated systems. These systems have many degrees of freedom, but you cannot directly control all of these degrees for arbitrary configurations. Imagine a quadcopter with a suspended payload. Both the quadcopter and the suspended load can rotate and move in 3D space, but none can do this independently.• Planning of several robots. In this case, we will have more than one robot in the starting position. These robots must navigate to a set of target locations. However, the purpose for which these robots must navigate is specified in advance and cannot be changed. The idea here is to generate trajectories that will bring each robot to its goal, avoiding collisions with each other.

Dado o avanço da tecnologia e aumento da capacidade computacional, a Inteligência Artificial mostrou ser um método eficiente na solução de problemas existentes na robótica. Esse projeto tem enfoque em uma de suas subáreas, o aprendizado por reforço, que é baseado na ideia de que, dado que uma ação ´e seguida de estados satisfatórios ou por melhorias no estado, haverá uma tendência para que esta ação seja reproduzida. Desta forma, ações podem ser selecionadas em função de informações obtidas sobre os estados que elas podem produzir, introduzindo aspectos de controle com realimentação. Diferente de outros modelos de aprendizagem que se baseiam exclusivamente em pesos para determinar as ações `a serem tomadas, algoritmos de aprendizado por reforço geram ações por meio de um processo aleatório que ´e polarizado por uma combinação de valores dos seus pesos e das suas entradas. O objetivo deste trabalho ´e investigar o potencial de algoritmos de aprendizado por reforço na navegação de veículos autônomos e na geração de rotas para realização de tarefas envolvendo múltiplos robôs e o transporte de cargas. Sendo assim, a contribuição deste trabalho está condicionalmente ligada na criação de um sistema que integra as funcionalidades do sistema de simulação Gazebo, do meta sistema operacional ROS e da linguagem de programação Python. Através deste sistema, o robô será capaz de obter e enviar os dados obtidos como entrada para o algoritmo de aprendizado aplicar a política de ações a fim de estabelecer uma estratégia de recompensas. Consequentemente, o robô será capaz de interagir com o ambiente e atingir o seu objetivo de maneira eficiente.
