PhD thesis research: selective area growth for III-Nitrides based devices. Design, fabrication, process development and characterization of light-emitting diodes (LEDs)- MOCVD. Growth recipes design and optimization for structures like pn-diodes and LEDs on various substrates including patterned/polished sapphire and Si. Process development of regrowth and double regrowth technique;- Process flow design and optimization of SiO₂/SiN deposition in PECVD, dry etching in RIE and wet etching by HF/BHF solutions. Experienced in metal evaporation and etching for electrical contacts; - Process development of positive and negative optical lithography with various resists and developers;- Post-process AFM, SEM, XRD and Raman charachterization. Photoluminescence and electroluminescence measurements;Other responsibilities:- MOCVD maintenance work, experience in gas flow systems and hazardous chemicals;- Thesis instructor (instructed master’s theses)- Teaching assistant on semiconductor physics, optoelectronics and radiation physics and safety courses.
