For the last 12+ years I have been working with both people and software, which helped me realize that taking care of the people who build the product is just as important as the product/project management. Without the proper mindset, organization and even care, execution and goals becomes harder, while quality and value may suffer.On the software side I have almost 10 years of project management experience in Chaos, Scalefocus and Nimero where I had the chance to:- Work on a great variety of products - from mobile, web and desktop apps to large ecommerce platforms (a 1M+ project) and specialized rendering software- Work on internal company projects to improve interoperability between teams, company organization and culture- Develop administrative project skills by developing extensive documentation, business justification, planning and stakeholder management- Become a Jira administration specialist taking care of workflows, dependencies and migrating projects and data from the server to the cloud instance- Learn the agile methodologies and get certified as a Prince2 foundation and Professional Scrum master- Develop technical understanding of software both practically as well as with courses on Java (by "IT talents" academy) and QA (by "Pragmatic" academy")On the people side I had the chance to:- Work with various teams up to 20+ people- Onboard and train new members of the project management team as well as coach them to developed the skills and mindset which they need the most- Interview job candidates and evaluate their motivation and skills- Work across the organizational levels from employees to CTOs on initiatives like a new technology adoption and implementation of a skills evaluation process- Be the school physics teacher of 150+ students, ages 11 to 17, and the mechanics assistant professor of 120+ university students- Dig into phycology, personal development and coaching as a hobbyIf you are curious to learn more, please drop me a message.
