I solve business problems by creating great digital products. I do so by talking, thinking, designing, drawing and coding.I believe that effective communication between stakeholders is crucial to the development process, be it clients, customers, users, marketing, business, designers or engineers.I love to foster and facilitate dialogue by driving user research, co-designing with clients, understanding business constraints and aligning product team goals and expectations.I focus on creating a user experience that makes life better for users. I’ve found that it’s a powerful approach to designing and engineering as well as instilling vision and purpose in others around me.I rely on data and experience - mine or others - to make decisions. Intimate know-how on both design and engineering, enables me to navigate the tradeoffs between each discipline to ensure product quality.I understand that process and method is key in developing, delivering, deploying and operating software as safely and cost effective as possible, and I find it important to pick the right tool for the job.I studied interaction/UX design at ITU.I have since 2015 worked professionally with the fundamental web languages Javascript, HTML and CSS.In that time I've worked full stack with technologies such as Node.js, React, Redux, PostgreSQL.During my career I've designed complex, responsive and intuitive user interfaces, using tools like Sketch and Illustrator.I've fleshed out strategic and conceptual product designs, as well as built, deployed and operated them.I have bridged product managers with technology and design by converting abstract ideas into mockups, and business needs into concrete bite sized tasks for engineers.I've worked with methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM and Extreme Programming.I'm also intimate with workflows such as Test Driven Development and Continuous Delivery.I have spent my time building a multitude of products, including but not limited to: a learning experience platform, a gyroscopic synth controller, a self service B2B telco platform, a drinking game, a direct democracy platform and a marketplace for Panamanian bus tickets.
