Test Quality Analyst/Programmer with Accenture/IT-Customer Markets/BCOS & CSPS (4 years)Test Quality Analyst/Programmer assigned to System/Product testing of two systems, BCOS (BellSouth Centrex Order System) & CSPS (Centrex Service Processing System). This includes requirements analysis, testing estimates and the creation of test plans, test outlines, test scripts, and test tracking documents in addition to the execution of test cases. Testing is performed manually as well as mechanically using IBM's testing tool, Rational Robot.Installed & implemented the Rational Robot tool. Created a suite of regression test cases for both BCOS & CSPS. The test cases actually run both systems interactively as needed and independent of user intervention.Participated in a major project to add a new product, Centrex, to both systems. This included participation in requirements writing & reviews and System testing of BCOS & CSPS (as well as managing the other test team members). Created detailed generic test script documents which allowed anyone who was unfamiliar with BCOS & CSPS to quickly begin executing tests with a minimum amount of training. This was helpful during Centrex testing due to the high attrition rate.During the transition from BellSouth Services to Accenture, learned Accenture’s Method/1 methodology and applied it to BCOS & CSPS (including development of Project Plans, performing System testing, and documentation). The documentation included the creation of testing templates for outlining, scripting, and tracking execution of test cases during System testing.BCOS is a Microsoft Visual Basic application using Microsoft Access for database access. It has over 150 screens, 200 tables, over 600,000 lines of code, over 3700 function points, and approximately 1500 users.CSPS is an IBM COBOL II application using IMS & DB2 for database access. It has over 100 screens, 200 tables, over 1,000,000 lines of code, over 6700 functions points, & more than 3500 users.
