Created a year-long online magazine, The Moonshot Catalog, within the context of a temporary, philanthropy-funded project at the America Association for the Advancement of Science. For three months of 2014, I had the privilege of participating at the Kavli Institute of Theoretical Physics (at the University of California, Santa Barbara) as a journalist in residence.

I wrote about science and technology, in print and on-line, for the magazine Chemical & Engineering News. And for several years, I helped oversee every aspect of this weekly magazine's production from story ideas to the final printed magazine.

I helped orchestrate the creation of a major science news magazine each week, from the conceptions of stories through to the printed stories.

I wrote on a wide variety of molecular science topics for ACS's weekly news magazine, Chemical & Engineering News

I edited the science stories that together became, each week, a great little magazine called Science News.

I wrote a script for the Chemistry show of the Science Channel's 100 Great Discoveries. Bill Nye was the narrator.

I reported stories and produced them for broadcast on NPR's Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and several other NPR shows.

I was a civilian employee of the navy hired to write an institutional history of the Naval Research Laboratory. The book is titled Pushing the Horizon: 75 Years of High Stakes Science at the Naval Research Laboratory.

I wrote speeches, articles and op-ed pieces, brochures about research and development, among other duties at one of the premier organizations in the federal R&D infrastructure.
