• Supporting, upgrading, designing and fault finding ROV systems. Developed testing facility and equipment to facilitate the fault finding process of certain types of ROV systems. • Worked with Saab Seaeye in upgrading certain ROV systems with hardware thus giving them dynamic positioning (DP)capabilities. Also took an active role in the management and coordination of this project.• Wrote technical reports and manuals for the offshore side of the company regarding recent system upgrades and new designs.

• Designed and built a wind power electronics system, for a spin-off company from the University of Edinburgh. The system was capable of exporting electrical power to the grid and vary the amount of power sent to the grid. • Designed an ingenious control system capable of synchronising the system to the grid and eliminate problems caused by electrical noise. Overall tasks included: microcontroller programming, PLLs design, inverter control design and analogue and digital design. I was also in charge of the project’s coordination and time management.

• Designed an electronics control system for a research project involving very high temperatures. • Additionally I performed hardware upgrades to an Ossila OLED measuring board to allow important measurements to be taken

• Designed a system capable of measuring electrical resistances of vary thin layers of materials with different sensitivity to light. These materials were later used in making sensors.
